Jamuna Prasad Vishwakarma DAV Public School Katni M.P. established in the year 1998,  IN THE CHERISHED MEMORY OF .......Jamuna Prasadji Vishwakarma, a saintly personality was born on August 22, 1919. He was the only child of his parent. His parent passed away very early in his lifetime but with the help of virtues like honesty, creativity, kindness, dedication, devotion to duty, charity, strong will power, etc., he made his way successful and acquired a lot of name and fame. His social nature made him to think about the welfare of society. He was married with the same kind of divine soul Smt. Halkibai Vishwakarma who always inspired him to achieve his goals.

The School is imparting education to all the students without any gender discrimination. Away from the madding crowd and hustle and brustle of city life, JPV DAV is arguably the best in the district and one of the best schools in Madhya Pradesh.

It is spread over an extensive campus of about 3 acres, presently bear a strength of more than 1600 students. The School’s achievement of maintaining its result  is historic. Years together students have not only made a phenomenal mark in the school results at both levels but the success is replete with the number of students entering the various streams Viz IITs, NITs, MBBS, NIFT, CA etc. A school’s infrastructure positively impacts attendance and performance. Embedded with modern day technologies, learning is more of a fun and less of a burden with all the digital classroom from nursery to class XII.

Seven well equipped laboratories viz ATAL Tinkering Lab (ATL) , Information & Communication Technology (ICI), Language Labs, Science Labs. (Physics, Chemisry, Biology & Mathematics).

Academics are important but so is finding time for fitness. Yoga, Swimming, Horse Riding, Gynastics, Martial Arts, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volley Ball, Kho Kho and many more games help students focus more and fidget less during clasees.

The principal and his team of talented staff are imbued with the ideals of Arya Samaj which forms the anchor sheet of the DAV Movement. We as an institution look forward  to the centuries of glorious service with the motto “To labour is to Pray”, Work is Worship.
